Beach Walks & Excursions
Bringing Shell Seekers Together Since 1996

Beach Walks & Excursions
BEACH WALKS start at 9 am on the 2nd Wednesday of each month (Oct-April). Look for the shell flag closest to the main beach access to find the group. Bring your chair, sunscreen, water bottle, and join fellow club members at a different local beach each month. You can walk the beach and look for seashells or chillax on your beach chair and chat with other shell club members. It’s a great way to get to know others in the club and make new friends. The group usually picks a restaurant close by to have lunch afterwards. Check your ESC calendar or the ESC Facebook page for more details. Contact Chris Hofer or Kathy Cycak (team leaders) for more information.
The Club plans several enjoyable EXCURSIONS for members throughout the shell club season. The Carefree Learner field trip to the tidal flats on Sarasota Bay is always a club favorite. Our Newsletter has the most current details of what is upcoming. See Marty Atkins or Carol Ayres – Team Leaders at the Excursions table before every monthly meeting to sign up for trips.
